The approach
Movement first. Always.
Your swing starts before the club moves. It starts in how you hinge, rotate, load, and hold your ground. Stance coaching works there. Every engagement opens with a movement assessment: how you move, where you are strong, what your body is protecting. The swing gets built from what we find.
The method pairs a Pilates certification with the Titleist Performance Institute screen, the same body-first standard used across professional golf. No tips layered over a swing that hurts. You get a plan that fits the body you brought, and it holds up on the course.
Golf, without the qualifier.
Why Stance
Plenty of women have played for years and still hedge the word golfer. Just getting back into it. Not really a golfer, I only play sometimes. The hedge is learned. Nearly every touchpoint in this sport tells a woman she is a guest in someone else’s game. Stance exists to end that.
The mission runs past the swing. Stance is building toward a game where women are taken seriously as golfers, and where the course gives women what it has always given men: connection, networking, and opportunity, on equal footing.
The coaching is where that starts. The swing most women were taught was modeled on men’s bodies. Stance coaches from your body instead: what it can do and what your efficient swing looks like. Amy has played since she was five, and she built the coaching she needed, one golfer at a time.
